Simple fried rice


Comforting leftover fried rice!🍚


Ingredients:

Leftover white rice (you know that extra rice they throw in when you order takeout...yeah that)

1 carrot diced

1 celery diced

1 onion finely diced

4-5 Chinese cabbage chopped

3-4 cloves garlic

2 eggs beaten

Toasted Sesame oil

Soy sauce

Oyster sauce

Fish sauce


Method:

Sautè rice in a bit of butter until it starts to brown and you can see some crispy bits. Set aside.

In a wok, sauté garlic until fragrant and add in celery, carrot and onion and sauté for a few minutes. Add the rice back in and mix well. Create a well in the middle of the wok, scramble the eggs with a little toasted sesame oil and mix in with the rice and veggies. Add Chinese cabbage and sautè lightly to retain the crunch. Add in soy sauce, Oyster sauce and 1 tsp fish sauce. Mix well & enjoy!
