Ingredients
5-6 perch and catfish
Marinade:
1 1/2 tbsp Fish fry masala (I used a brand that I picked up from Kerala, India)
2 tsp Turmeric
Salt
Pepper
1/2 Lemon juice
Make a paste using the above ingredients
2 cloves Garlic chopped
1 inch Ginger chopped
1 can coconut milk
1 tbsp coconut oil
7-8 curry leaves
1 chili sliced (I de-seeded them to lower the spice)
Method
Marinate fish in the marinade ingredients above for 15 minutes. Add some oil to the pan and lightly pan fry fish. Set aside. Add garlic to the same pan and sautè for a few seconds. Add in fish, coconut milk, coconut oil, ginger, chili and curry leaves. Simmer on low until sauce thickens. Enjoy!
