Pasta Bolognese

Chilly days make me want to curl up on a couch with a warm bowl of spaghetti bolognese. This recipe is a modified version to my regular recipe.


4-5 garlic chopped

1 med to large onion diced

3 celery stalks diced

4-5 sprigs of thyme

1 lb beef and pork mix

Salt & pepper to taste

Italian seasoning

1/2 diced zuchinni

2 green onions diced

1 beef bouillon cube

Sweet basil marinara

1 bottle pasata

2 tbsp sugar

Boil pasta until al denté. Toss in butter and set aside.

Saute garlic, onion, celery and thyme until golden and softened. Add in the beef and pork mix, salt, pepper and italian seasonings. Caramelize meat. Add in basil marinara, pasata and beef bouillon cube. Adjust seasonings, add in zuchinni , green onions, 2 tablespoons sugar and bring to a boil. Simmer on low heat for 2 hours stirring occasionally. Toss with pasta, top with your fave cheese & enjoy!
