Creamy carbonara in 10 minutes!

Feelin' for a carbonara tonight🍜 Creamy egg yolk tossed in al denté spaghetti with bacon, mushrooms & garlic



10 strips bacon diced

5-6 mushrooms

2 garlic diced

1/2 cup grated parmesan

1/4 cup sliced camembert

2 raw eggs

salt & pepper to taste


In a pan, saute bacon until crisp, add in mushrooms and stir for a few minutes. Toss in garlic at the last minute. At the same time, boil pasta to almost al dente (2 minutes short of al dente). Add pasta to the bacon mix with a 1 ladle of pasta water, parmesan and camembert cheese. Pasta will continue cooking at this stage - toss until creamy. Add in a bit more pasta water, if needed, to keep the creamy texture and grind a good amount of black pepper. Remove from heat, add in two eggs and toss quickly (the eggs will cook in the residual heat) - serve while hot! It is the ultimate comfort food and delicious!
